You MUST have at least one deviation with a Long-haired Guy(s) in it before you will be able to join the group.

If you do not have any devs with long-haired guys, simply WATCH the Group.

GIRLS ARE NOW ALLOWED to be in the deviations you submit... as long as the primary focus of the dev is a long-haired MALE. There is a special folder for devs with women. PLUS ONE.

Hentai is not allowed nor pornography.

Yaoi is accepted... we have a folder for it.

Only 2 deviations per day.

Nude art is allowed.

Make sure to upload only your BEST work... we will not accept poor quality. (If you are unsure of a piece's quality, submit it to the NOVICE Folder.)

DO NOT submit your own work into the Featured Folder.

DO NOT suggest your OWN work for Faves.

Been gone a long time and I'm sorry, loved ones.
All in the last year... I moved to a new state, got married and had a baby...
So, needless to say, I've been pretty busy.

Please allow me some catch-up time.

N E W S

  NEW RULES POSTED.  Please take a look.

  Unfortunately, the Founder of this Group has had to take a leave of absence... he has asked Me to fill the Founder Post, and I have accepted with honour.

  We have a NEW FOLDER in the Gallery: "Plus One."  Deviations with WOMEN in them are now allowed... AS LONG AS the focus of the deviation is still a long-haired male.

  We have yet ANOTHER new folder in the Gallery: "Novice."  I am a perfectionist and high quality art is most-desired here and in all My other Groups as well... Not everything submitted here has met the standards which I raised when first coming aboard here... but I have such a difficult time declining much of anything, therefor, the "Novice" folder has been created.  Some of you will notice your work getting moved there... please don't be insulted.  Not everyone can be as remarkable as *nathie.

  I may perhaps invite a couple of you to become Contributors to assist with voting... but for now, I am content and capable of handling this Group on My own.

  I have had some inquiries regarding literature submissions... I suppose if the piece is detailed in its description of a long-haired male(s), it should be allowed.  However, My concern is that this won't be a very active Folder, (very few submissions,) and I will also have to take a lot more time in approving them... because I won't allow something without reading it first.  Let Me also state that if you think I'm already picky with the visual art... I am 10,000 times more picky with literature... Spelling and grammar mistakes would result in an instant DECLINE.  If I receive a good response to this journal regarding literature, and more than just 3 or 4 of you REALLY wish Me to add a Literature Folder, then I will.

*It is such a thrill to have found this Group and taken it from a little baby Group to the flourishing Group it is today. Thank you, ~tnt-up, for the opportunity and trust in Me to handle it.  It's such an honour.

PS:  Does anyone want a contest?  I'm not one for entering contests Myself... and so many Group contests go under the radar with no entries... I don't wish that to happen, which is why I haven't hosted one so far.  If there is a strong interest in a contest, we will indeed have one... but you must speak up!  As much as I like to think I can... I CAN'T read your minds.

PPS:  If you have read this journal and are on board with EVERYTHING herein, please leave a simple comment below. "Read it," will do.  I want to see how many of you ACTUALLY READ the Group Blog.

Standards Raised- READ

Greetings, loved ones.

I am The Devious Queen .

I welcome you all to our newly-thriving Group... and as it is growing and becoming established, I'd like all of you to be aware that in order for us to be successful, we need to all put our best foot forward.

As of now... please only submit your BEST pieces.
We do not have novice or beginners folders right now. I do not think we will require them either if we are all very clear what is permissible as "quality" and what is not.

If your work is denied into the Group... don't pout... just work on improving your skill so you may join the Gallery alongside the brightest artists of our age.

Folders are going to be rearranged and organized soon also... be patient.  Rome wasn't built in a day.

We are also trying to increase our numbers so we may improve our Gallery.  If you have deviants on your Friends list who illustrate long-haired males... send them our way.  Suggest their work for submission into the Group. (make sure to choose the right category)  Or you can leave them a comment or Note telling them about your awesome Group, !

If anyone needs assistance or has a question about the Group's new, higher standards... shoot us a Note or I'm available for private correspondence on my personal account.
